Therapist's hands working on a forearm

An old technique that still earns its place. Cups draw the tissue upward rather than pressing it down, which lifts tight fascia, brings blood into a stubborn area and eases inflammation and tension in a way hands cannot.

Cupping is often combined with massage or dry needling in the same visit. Static cups left in place work a specific spot; gliding cups move across a larger area such as the back or thigh.

Expect the round marks for a few days; they are not bruises and they do not hurt. Thirty minutes for one area, sixty for several.

“After a lot of travelling in New Zealand and feeling aches and pains, I booked a massage to relieve the pain and it was great. I would recommend this place to everyone.”
